9 Easy Meals for Parents Who “Hate to Cook”

I often get asked for easy meal ideas by parents who preface this request with the statement: “I hate to cook”. The truth is it’s easy to “hate to cook”. Making food can be challenging, especially if you don’t know where to start, don’t have the right tools or don’t have confidence in yourself. We all have different skills and things we are passionate about in life. For me, I love to cook and to create healthy recipes but there are still days when I would give my right arm to have someone cook my family a meal just so I wouldn’t have too. It’s easy to hate things we either don’t have much practice with or are part of our daily responsibilities, which can feel like a chore. My advice to people who “hate to cook” but want to cook (or have to) is to explore why they hate it. Pinpointing the things that make it stressful and not enjoyable may actually help people find a way to like it….at least a little..at least sometimes.

Today I have rounded-up nine of my favorite recipes that are easy, fun and delicious. Perfect for people looking to spice up their relationship with cooking.
