What a “spooktacular” time we all had, indeed!  Thank you ALL for joining us for our first ever Spooktacular Halloween Bash at South Slope Community Center last weekend!  What an awesome venue for the party, wasn’t it?  It was so nice to be warm (and dry!) inside, where we could actually see the kiddos costumes, not bundled up with sweatshirts and gloves and hats! Special thanks to South Slope for hosting us a second time around (remember our awesome First Birthday Bash that we had there?!).

Co-Host

halloweenbash4Another special thank you goes out to our co-host for the evening, The Family Dental Center.  It is always such a treat to see their (pearly white) smiling faces at our events!  If you are looking for a friendly environment to take your kiddos to the dentist (especially after all of this trick-or-treating!), look no further than The Family Dental Center in Coralville!  Their staff is one of the friendliest we’ve ever met, and we all know how difficult it can be sometimes to drag the little ones to the dentist office!  Thank you for having such a great booth and treating the little ones with candy and other fun goodies!

Once again, how awesome was it to walk around inside and get candy?!  For Iowans, we know what it’s like to trick-or-treat in the freezing cold (sometimes snow!) and cover up all of their cute costumes.  It was so fun to watch them walk (or run!) from one booth to the next, getting their goodies and showing off their adorable outfits. They also enjoyed some super fun games, too!  Special thanks to all of the sponsors who brought candy, games, prizes and more for our kids!  They had SO MUCH FUN.  Shout out to all of the amazing booths:

**And last, but certainly not least, a huge thank you to our very own contributor Shari for making the Spiderweb Beanbag Game, the Witch Hat Ring Toss, and the Witches Stew (aka guess the gross contents of the covered boxes!).  The games were so cute, and so fun for all of the kiddos!

Less Tricks, More Treats!

After all of that candy, what’s better than some cupcakes and cookies?!  We were so happy to have Yummy’s Gourmet Cakes filling the snack table!!  I’ve never seen that many cupcakes disappear that fast!  They truly are some of the best goodies around!

halloweenbash5Our Very Own Photo Booth!

Thanks to Ruby Ellen Photography, our guests at the Spooktacular Halloween Bash were able to get adorable pics of their little ones in their costumes, and they even had them printed to take home with them!  Thank you Robyn for bringing such a fun photo booth!

Thank YOU, mamas!

As always, NONE of our events would happen without all of you amazing mamas coming out to join us and bringing your lovely families with you! Thank you for supporting us, thank you for following the blog, and thank you for spending time with us!  We can’t wait until the next time!
