You might remember that we hosted an AMAZING play date with our sponsors over at The Little Gym earlier this summer. We had a full morning of exciting activities, yummy snacks, and serious fun. Maybe you were one of the lucky mamas that snagged a ticket before it sold out. Or if not, you probably caught up on all the action via social media and our designated hashtag {#hmbplaydate}. Either way – you know it was a raving success!
Well…both us and our friends at The Little Gym decided that we didn’t want the fun to stop there – so we put together an entire PLAY DATE SERIES with all eleven Houston area The Little Gyms joining in! Yes, you read that right. Over the course of the next seven months, we are going to be traveling all over our big, beautiful city to bring some serious fun to YOUR neighborhood.
Here’s how it is going to go :: Most months {with some short breaks for the holidays}, we will have two different play dates scheduled at opposing locations within about one week of each other. We have the full details listed below, but at each location, the drill will be the same – we will have a class for the little ones {age birth – 3}, a class for the older kids {3 – 6}, drinks for mom, and snacks for the kids. Speaking of which, we are still working out the details for our drink and snack sponsor this play date series, but can we just say…we are RIDICULOUSLY excited about the brand we will be working with!!!
UPDATE :: Have we built the anticipation enough? We hope so, and we are over the moon to FINALLY announce our drink and snack sponsor for these play dates! Drum roll, please………. It’s CHICK-FIL-A!!! After all, what is better than some serious fun at The Little Gym washed down with a delicious drink and snack from Chick-Fil-A? In our minds, not much! Oh, how we are so excited to be working hand in hand with this amazing brand – because not only do we love all of the products they serve, but also their unbelievable service and their passion for the community too. Sounds just like what we are striving to provide all of you too!
We know it’s a lot of excitement to keep track of, so our best advice? Connect with us on social media and keep a watchful eye for announcements and updates…because as always, tickets are going to be incredibly limited in an effort to keep class sizes down and the safety of our little ones up. And it’s no secret that our events have a tendency of selling out really, REALLY fast! {And for just $5 a kid – with snacks and drinks included – you really can’t be surprised!}

Since The Little Gym offers programs and classes for every stage in your child’s development, we will be offering two different classes at each location to target the appropriate level for your little one as well!
:: Birth – 3 Year Old Class ::
This parent/child class is geared specifically towards infants and toddlers, designed to promote early development, and structured to help your child reach new milestones – all with you right by their side.
:: 3 – 6 Year Old Class ::
For the bigger kids, this gymnastics class gives your child the opportunity to learn and play independently, provides a positive outlet to channel all that energy, and gives them a much needed respite from those pesky moms {aka US!}.
You might be wondering…what do I do if I have a kiddo in each age group? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! In an attached room, we will have some fun activities set up along with an amazing drink and snack station courtesy of Chick-Fil-A Sugar Land and Chick-Fil-A Sawyer Heights {respectively}. So if you have an older child, feel free to drop them off with us and then go play with your little one in the parent/child class first. Then after that class wraps up, you can switch places and grab a snack with your little one while the older kids go off to class all on their own!

As always, we encourage the use of social media leading up to the event as a fun way to spread the word, connect with new friends, and build our community. Our amazing friend Momma’s Gonna SNAP Photography will be on hand to capture the memories, but we love when you get those camera phones out and share the fun too!
