I haven’t regretted my decision to work from home for a second, but it’s definitely been something I’ve had to (and still am) learning to get used to. Going from having to be at the office at a certain time on certain days to being able to work whenever (and wherever) is a whole new world. 

I'll laugh and joke about how relieved I am to be sending the kids off to school for eight hours everyday, but the truth is I'm nervous. Not first-day-jitter, nervous. No this is more of a my-child-has-dyslexia-so-please-be-kind nervous.

What I am trying to say here is . . . you're getting an eviction notice. It's not that we don't adore you. We do, but this just isn't working out. 

Losing that nursing bond feels strangely like mourning, like you're giving up being her Mommy as your lactation shuts down. You feel betrayed by your breasts, and guilty for taking the vacation, for leaving your daughter behind, and for getting so wrapped up in the move across town. You feel ashamed for not having better prepared her for this. And now you are stuck in transition between breast and bottle -- desperate to move forward because there is no going back.
