Sugar Bee Sweets, owned by confectioner Heidi Allison, truly does prepare one-0f-a-kind creations.
For eight years, cake decorating has been my passion. My first cake creation was a Barbie cake for my niece Jayden’s birthday. After that first cake, I fell in love with decorating . . . and haven’t stopped since!
At first, I worked in advertising during the day and frosted cake orders late into the night. Then, in June of 2011, I took the leap and opened up my own store front: Sugar Bee Sweets!
Sugar Bee Sweets is a boutique bakery specializing in custom cakes and sweets for weddings, parties, showers, anniversaries, and every event in-between! In addition to our custom cakes, we specialize in sweets — cupcakes, cakeballs, pies, and cookies in all shapes and flavors. Quality, taste, attention to detail, and friendly, personalized service is our main focus. You can always expect that from us!
Wedding cakes are a main portion of our business; however, we do have party cakes and sweets going out almost daily! Our store front offers a sweets bar that is filled daily with a variety of cookies, cupcakes, and cake balls. The most popular cake flavors are our red velvet with cream cheese, almond with vanilla butter cream, and vanilla with our house-made banana jam filling is always a hit. Our most popular cakeball flavors are red velvet, heath, Oreo, and birthday cake.
Be Sweet to Others
Since Sugar Bee Sweets is a boutique bakery and locally owned business, I always try to refer other local, small business vendors and venue places to try and keep business local and keep our community thriving. That’s really important to me.
The bakery also makes sweet donations to local schools and surrounding communities when possible. The local night shelter receives our unsold sweets regularly.
My staff and I strive to be unique and creative in all our confections. We want to work with you to make your cake visions come to life! Our goal is to create a sweet concoction that will stun your guests, please your tastes buds, and leave a lasting impression for years to come.

Heidi is the wife of a wonderful husband and loves being mother to two beautiful girls, Vivian (January 2012) and Eleanor (October 2014). She Graduated from UTA and has always called Texas home. She is a Tri Delta Alumni as well as a member of the Arlington Chamber and The Coterie. Her cakes have been featured in magazines such as The Knot, FD Luxe, Brides of North Texas, and Southern Weddings and have been seen on Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, and Wedding Chicks. She is a fan of the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Cowboys, and Demarcus Ware, no matter what team he plays for (though, she wishes he was still a Cowboy!). When she is not whipping up a cake, she loves spending time with her family, supporting her nieces at their games and meets, and thinking up the next sweet idea for her business.
