  1. We get to pick a new special ornament to out on the tree every year. Our son is 3.5, so his choices and seeing his face make it exciting!

  2. Our favorite holiday tradition is drinking hot chocolate on Christmas Eve while we watch the Muppet Christmas Carol 🙂

  3. Our favorite tradition is to get the kids in their PJs, take a candy cane and hot cocca and simply drive all over town looking at Christmas lights. The kids ask to do it every weekend!

  4. Our favorite holiday tradition is our Christmas activity calendar. Opening each day to find a fun Christmas activity for that day! Whether it’s looking at Christmas lights or baking cookies. 🙂

  5. My favorite Holiday tradition is…baking! I bake bake and bake some more. At my husbands job, they can’t wait for November to hit! My oldest(8 year old), joins me when he is not in school. Hopefully he will be a baker when he grows up.

  6. My favorite holiday tradition is our advent calendar in December! Everyday we have a fun activity planned to help remind us what the holidays are all about! My kiddos love picking the card each morning and look forward to it all year long!:)

  7. Every year since I was a little girl, all the women in my family (Grandma, Mom, Aunts, cousins) would get together for “Cookie Day.” We would spend an entire Saturday making tons of Christmas cookies. Some were family favorites and very traditional and other years we would try some new recipes. I don’t live in Chicago anymore to join in on this tradition with my extended family, but my sister-in-law, Mom, and I all live in AZ now and are continuing this tradition with our girls!

  8. Our favorite Christmas morning tradition is making homemade French Crepes from Grandma’s secret recipe. Each person gets to pick their own favorite topping/filling. Voila! A delicious start to a wonderful Christmas morning! P.s our family comes from France!
    Joyeux Noel!

  9. Picking out a new ornament, and now that we have our own little one, I want to start reading Twas the Night Before Christmas before heading to bed on Christmas Eve

  10. It is hard for me to pick one favorite tradition! My kids are still young (6, 5 & 3), so it has been so much fun building new traditions with my own family these past 6 yrs. ONE of my many favorites is that I make them jammies and let them open them on Christmas Eve; then we drive around looking at lights and listening to/singing Christmas music <3

  11. My favorite holiday tradition is our christmas eve junk food fest and board games! We all go grocery shopping and get obnoxiously awful frozen food treats like mozzie sticks etc and eat all night while playing board games.

  12. Our holiday tradition is Christmas angel. My son is only 2, so he doesn’t fully understand, but we always make sure to give to children that wouldn’t receive otherwise. And….. Peppermint hot chocolate.

  13. our Holiday Tradition is to adopt a family in need to help them have a Wonderful Holiday themselves we try to give back all year but this is our big one 🙂

  14. My favourite holiday tradition is taking the whole family to pick out a fresh tree and letting the kids decide the best one to bring home. We then spend time together decorating it and I love it!
