Opening Night Review
My family and I had such a fun night at the circus! This year was a memorable year for us, as all FIVE of us got to go! Yes, that’s right, we took the 2 year old with us….and he absolutely loved it! When we first arrived, they were having a little fun with the audience, getting us all pumped up for the show. The arena was full of energy! They had us dancing and clapping and cheering before the show even began. The thing about seeing the circus as an adult, is that you kinda know what’s coming next…or at least you think you do. My husband and I were both surprised by some of the stunts, and at the predictable parts, I really loved watching my kids’ faces. No matter how old you get, watching your kids’ eyes- full of wonder and amazement- never EVER gets old. Our 2 year old, Drake, loved (and stayed awake for!) the entire thing. I think his first year was a hit! Even though for most of it, he kept his (or my) hands over his ears. It was a little loud for him. I would advise if you are taking small 
children, consider bringing something to protect their ears. Despite that- he squealed and clapped and danced just like his big sisters. Some of our favorites this year were “The Titans” that performed some pretty amazing stunts, the tight rope, the puppies riding horses (you read that right!) and Drake LOVED the “motor-ky-kos” (motorcycles) most of all!
There are still several show times throughout the weekend for your family to attend! We were thoroughly entertained and think you will be too!
