Run for the Roses: A Mom’s Night Out at the Derby is our biggest event ever! Trust us, you will NOT want to miss it! Picture yourself and all your hot mama friends dressed to the nines, topped with a derby hat or chic fascinator (a la Kate Middleton) waltzing into Brodie Homestead, grabbing a fabulous signature cocktail or wine julep, and dancing the night away to music only Texas Professional DJs can provide!

We will be sharing more details about ticket prices, swag bag items, and giveaways in a couple of weeks, but in the mean time, here are all of the amazing brands that are making this night possible.

Austin Custom Winery – Austin Custom Winery, one of the first micro wineries in the United States, will be providing samples of their custom vintage wine. And wine lovers get excited, they will also be providing glasses of some outstanding sangria made especially for Austin Moms Blog! Located in Austin in the city of Sunset Valley, expert wine maker (and native Texan) Mary Charron is one of Austin’s most experienced Vintners. No matter if you are a wine connoisseur or just starting, you will find a new wine to fall in love with.

We Olive – We Olive is one of Austin’s newest hot spots providing fine gourmet foods, hard-to-find artisan wines, delicious draft beers, and, of course, high quality olive oil and vinegar. They pride themselves on offering healthy, local products including artisan wines, local microbrews, and food. We Olive will have a variety of samples from their entire menu at the event including wine and small bites. Not to mention, they will be providing Wine-Juleps made just for our Run for the Roses event! That’s right, Wine-Juleps!

Tequila512 – Tequila 512 is the product of a lot of blood, sweat and tears from local Austinite, Scott Willis. Meet Willis here to learn more about the story behind his labor of love. In short, Willis has always been inspired by all things Austin, to the point of uprooting his life to move there and be a part of its vibrant music and cultural scene. In 2007, he decided entering the spirits market was the best way for him to be a part of that scene and he set out to create a product and brand that represented Austin and all of the things he loved about the town. He is a Texan who is passionate about tequila and loves the town in which he lives. His tequila, like Austin, is high quality without the pretense. Tequila 512: No gimmicks. Just premium quality tequila, packaged attractively and sold at a reasonable price.

Brodie Homestead – With the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern elegance, the Brodie Homestead will provide an unforgettable backdrop for your event. Opening its doors in 2014, it is ideally located just South of downtown Austin, Texas in Sunset Valley. The completely restored historic barn property has been a landmark in the eyes of Austin residents since it was built in the 1940s, and is tailor-made for weddings, galas, corporate functions, and special events of all kinds.
